It is important to understand the five warning signs of stroke as they move quickly and for a limited period of time once the symptoms of stroke begin.

Stroke is often fatal, knowing that warning signs of stroke symptoms can save your life.

Stroke is the leading cause of death in the United States, following heart disease and cancer. But worse, stroke is also the leading cause of disability, causing major verbal, memory and movement problems.

Unfortunately, the strokes of young people and children are rapidly increasing.

The main stroke symptoms for both men and women are the basic five warning signs of stroke. But women also have unique symptoms of stroke.

What is stroke? What is stroke?
What is stroke? Stroke is a brain attack that kills brain cells. Stroke symptoms are similar, whether stroke or stroke.

About 90% of strokes are ischemic stroke. Ischemic stroke is a result of obstructed arteries and blood clots cutting off blood flow to the brain, causing oxygen and nutrient deficiencies and brain cell death.

Only about 10% of strokes are hemorrhagic strokes that occur when the weak blood vessels in the brain begin to leak or actually rupture.

Stroke can damage the brain, just as a heart attack damages the heart. If you suspect you may be in a stroke, ask them:

Smile (one side is drooping?)
Raise your arms (does one arm move down?)
Repeat a simple sentence (does their speech sound weird?)
Five warning signs of stroke symptoms
Stroke symptoms suddenly start. The start time is important for any of the five warning signs of stroke in both men and women:
Often only on one side of the face or body, numbness or weakness in the arms or legs occurs suddenly.
Confusion leads to sudden vagueness in words, difficulty finding the right words, or understanding the meaning of others.
Problems with walking may even be stumbling due to sudden dizziness, loss of balance, or lack of coordination.
Sudden blurred vision may result in decreased monocular or binocular vision, dual vision or even all black.
An unusual very intense headache, like a sudden bumpy. May also be accompanied by dizziness and vomiting.
Although these are the most common signs of stroke in both men and women, studies show that early warning signs of stroke in women may also include the following additional 5 stroke symptoms:

Suddenly nausea or tired of feeling,
Suddenly collapsed, crashed or seizures,
Sudden racing or rapid heartbeat,
Suddenly painful chest, arms, legs or face,
Suddenly shortness of breath or hiccups.
Stroke is a major emergency with a window of about three hours to stop the damage. The warning sign of any stroke, no matter how small, needs urgent attention. So get medical help immediately.

While it is important to understand the five warning signs of stroke symptoms and stroke, understanding how to prevent a stroke is also crucial.
